Platform announcements

The RecruitBot team publishes announcements (maintenance, new features, incidents). They appear in two places.

In your dashboard

Active announcements show as a banner at the top of every page. An important (critical) announcement cannot be hidden; the others have a close button, remembered in your browser. When several are active, the banner shows two and a link opens the full list. Some announcements target only the free or only the Premium plan.

As a Discord private message

The team can also send an announcement as a private message. It only goes to the people your server's owners picked: open Settings → Announcements and switch on the team members who should receive them (up to 10, among the panel team and the server owner). By default nobody is picked.

• Each person receives an announcement once, even if they are picked on several servers.
• Someone who closed their private messages is skipped; a temporary Discord error is retried a few times.
• Someone removed from the panel team stops receiving them automatically.
• Only people picked before an announcement is published receive it.
